We at The Nap Time Show are SO excited to announce our early literacy initiative, 'Mister Boots Stories for Change,' a campaign under the distinguished 'Books for Bright Futures' campaign!
What is Books for Bright Futures?
Books for Bright Futures is an incredible initiative inspired by the vision of Book Dash that “Every child should own a hundred books by the age of five.” With this mission in mind, we are dedicated to providing beautiful and relevant children’s books that families can select, print, and distribute to young children in our community.
We're excited to announce that we will be giving away 1,000 FREE books to children in our community!
Why Early Literacy Matters
Did you know that children who are read to at home have a significant educational advantage?
According to a study by the National Institute for Literacy, "Children who are read to frequently are more likely to recognize all letters of the alphabet, count to 20 or higher, write their own names, and read or pretend to read."
Early literacy is crucial for a child's development, boosting their cognitive skills and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Who is Mister Boots?
Meet Mister Boots! He’s one of the beloved characters on The Nap Time Show and stars in his own mini-series called "Bedtime Stories with Mister Boots." Mister Boots loves reading and truly values literacy. He’s here to inspire our young viewers to pick up a book and dive into the wonderful world of stories!

What Will My Donation Help?

Provide additional resources to communities in need (school supplies, safe play opportunities, etc.)- Encourage early literacy and help bridge the achievement gap
Give away free food to the community in addition to books for families in need
Fuel our vehicles to drive across the area; from neighborhood to neighborhood
