Since its launch, The Nap Time Show™ has brought peaceful, developmentally enriching entertainment to over 80,000 viewers through YouTube and public access television (proving that slow-paced, intentional media can capture children’s attention in a world of fast, overstimulating content).
We’ve created two original seasons of heart-centered programming, secured features in major industry outlets like TV Kids and CBS News, and partnered with the PBS Michigan Learning Channel to broadcast our show into classrooms and homes across the state. Through our free “Storytime for Change” events—funded by Nickelodeon’s Our World US Community Fund, we’re engaging hundreds of families around emotional literacy and screen-time awareness, all while centering diverse voices and experiences in early childhood storytelling.
Our reach has extended far beyond the screen: we’ve distributed over 1,000 books to families through a partnership with The LEGO Foundation and ChangeX, secured multiple competitive grants (including Office Depot’s Elevate Together and the Ford Philanthropy Fellowship), and been recognized as a visionary force in equitable children’s media. What makes our impact even more remarkable is that all of this has been self-financed, grassroots, and driven by a singular mission: to give children and caregivers access to calm, culturally-rooted programming that nurtures rest, imagination, and joy. We’ve proven the demand. We’ve shown the difference it makes. Now, we’re ready to scale this impact to the national stage.

Funders, THIS is your chance to partner with us on an exciting new chapter for Boone Productions and The Nap Time Show. Here's how your support can help us change the world:
💵 $5,000 Request
Use of Funds: We would use $5,000 to develop and launch a digital Calm Kit—a downloadable toolkit designed for daycare providers and caregivers, filled with guided activities, calming scripts, and video content from The Nap Time Show™. These funds would allow us to hire a designer, create the landing page infrastructure, and run a small but targeted digital ad campaign to build our email list and validate national demand.
Why It’s Crucial Now: We’re at a strategic pivot point—shifting from hyperlocal to national awareness. Without accessible tools to introduce the brand, we miss out on critical momentum and opportunities for earned media, partnerships, and growth. This kit becomes the front door to future funding, live events, and collaborations.
Impact: This investment helps us grow our community of caregivers, amplify developmental wellness through peaceful media, and solidify The Nap Time Show™ as a credible, scalable solution for children’s emotional literacy nationwide.
💵 $10,000 Request
Use of Funds: In addition to launching the Calm Kit, $10,000 would allow us to produce and distribute a three-part video campaign called “Nap Time is Sacred,” anchoring our bold messaging in public spaces (social media, email, and partnerships). We’d also be able to create a small-scale digital brand deck, pitch top early childhood orgs and influencers, and launch a mini digital residency pilot with one national daycare chain.
Why It’s Crucial Now: We’ve tested and proven the effectiveness of The Nap Time Show™ locally. But without a national introduction campaign, our outreach efforts remain unseen. This funding allows us to own our narrative, drive demand, and begin cultivating high-value relationships that lead to touring and partnerships.
Impact: You’re helping a Black woman-led children’s media brand build a healthy alternative to overstimulating content—and giving kids, especially in underserved communities, access to the peace they deserve. With this investment, we grow awareness, trust, and direct engagement with our dream audience.
💵 $30,000 Request
Use of Funds: We would launch a full national awareness campaign for The Nap Time Show™, including:
Production of an 8–10 page pitch deck and micro-documentary sizzle
Paid placements in early childhood educator magazines and podcasts
Touring prototypes (pop-up library/storytime tour in 3 cities)
Strategic influencer partnerships & outreach
We’d also fund a part-time communications associate to manage press, outreach, and campaign execution for 3 months.
Why It’s Crucial Now: We’ve done the work—3 seasons, community impact, grants, partnerships—but visibility remains our biggest barrier. We’ve learned that showing up at scale is essential to get in the door with major partners, school districts, and funders. Without this visibility, we remain invisible to the systems we’re trying to change.
Impact: This funding would help us become a household name among caregivers and educators. It plants the seeds for national touring, deeper B2B licensing, and creative collaborations with platforms like PBS, Calm, or Crayola. It helps us not just grow—but belong in the broader media ecosystem, on our own terms.
💵 $100,000 Request
Use of Funds: We are ready to scale. $100,000 would fund:
A 6-month national brand campaign across digital, influencer, and educator networks
Touring pilots in 5–7 cities with full pop-up activations (library shows, daycare visits, parent events)
Hiring 2 part-time team members: a content strategist + outreach coordinator
Production of new digital shorts + a parent-facing web series on emotional wellness for young kids
Full email CRM & funnel set-up for family and educator segments
A short documentary showing our impact across cities
Why It’s Crucial Now: We are poised to become the name for peaceful children’s media. But without this influx of support, we remain under-resourced and overextended. We are doing national-level work with a solo founder budget. This is a catalytic moment. With your investment, we stop chasing traction—and start leading the movement.
Impact: Your funding would allow us to build a national touring brand rooted in healing, media literacy, and emotional care. It supports a sustainable alternative to overstimulating content. And it helps us create joy, calm, and representation for millions of kids who deserve to be seen—and soothed.
